During the United States’ forced assimilation of American Indigenous people, she and the other badés were imprisoned for not conforming to western gender ideology

Because of the bodies they were born in they were forced to cut their hair and perform the “male” roles of American society

Osh-Tisch was one of the last known badé of the Crow Nation

Her name in English was Finds Them and Kills Them
